Specular Hematite slab

Specular Hematite, also known as specularite is a form of iron ore from the Upper Peninsula of Michigan.

These specimens have been cut and polished and then coated with an glossy resin to give the specimens an "always wet" look.

The pieces pictured are examples of the piece you will receive. The one we select for you will be of similar size and quality.

An acrylic stand is included to allow you to display the piece as soon as you receive it.

The pieces will measure between 1.75-2" by 2.5"x3" and weigh about 5-7oz.
