Orthoceras Fossil Tower

This wonderful orthoceras cephalopod tower features a large fossil on two sides, and a few more scattered across the other sides - see pix to see for yourself! This piece has a really unique shape and great appeal. great addition to one's collection.

As seen in these pictures, Moroccan orthoceras fossils are often found in a black marble matrix, with the shell tail of the ancient squid-like cephalopod preserved as calcite in the limestone.
