These polished Labradorite specimens highlight their unique optical effect called labradorescence. The flashes of blue, green, golden, and occasional purple hues result from light reflecting within the layers of the feldspar crystal, making Labradorite an interesting piece for collectors and geology enthusiasts.
The front face of the specimen displays the strongest flashes, while the other sides, top, and bottom have more subtle iridescence. Each piece weighs between 250-500g (0.5-1.1 lbs) and measures approximately 3-4 inches tall and 2.5-3.5 inches wide. Taller pieces may have a narrower profile.
