The Denver Gem & Mineral Show has wrapped for the year, and if you were there — thank you. It was an incredible ten days of rocks, crystals, fossils, and the kind of energy that only happens when thousands of gem lovers are all in one place.

Rio Grande Arts & Crafts Festival — Balloon Fiesta Show

Timing this one with the Balloon Fiesta is always a treat. The festival draws a creative, enthusiastic crowd and it's one of our favorite shows of the year. Stop by and browse while the balloons fly.

Right in our backyard. Mollie McGee's puts together a beautifully curated market and the fall edition always draws a great mix of makers and shoppers. Come say hi and see what we've been working on.

No problem — the shop never closes. Browse our full collection of Rock Candles and Dinosaurs & Fossils online anytime, and we ship directly to you. Everything you'd find at the show is available in the store — and sometimes we add pieces between events that never make it to the show floor at all.

The fall and winter gem show calendar is surprisingly active across the region. A quick search for "gem and mineral shows near me" or checking sites like the Gem & Mineral Show Calendar at rockngem.com will turn up events in your area you might not know about. Local rock and gem clubs are also a great resource — they often host smaller shows and swap meets that don't get much publicity but are fantastic for finding unique pieces.

This is our favorite time of year to be at shows. The crowds are a little more intentional, the conversations go deeper, and the pieces people are looking for tend to be more meaningful — gifts for people they love, or something special for their own space.
