A beautiful, one-of-a-kind oil lamp made from very rare and highly sought after bumblebee jasper creating a memorable piece of home decor!

The lamp is crafted with a reservoir affixed to the underside of the rock to hold the oil. When filled with a high quality paraffin oil it produces a nearly smokeless, odorless "candle-sized" flame that will burn for at least three hours, likely more.

Filling the lamp is a simple process:
1) Remove the wick assembly from the rock
2) Insert the funnel we've provided into the hole where the wick came from
3) Fill with a high-quality paraffin lamp oil. We like the oils from Ultra Pure or Firefly.
4) Reinsert the wick and allow a couple of minutes for the wick to "wick" the oil.
5) Light and enjoy!

We've also built all of our Rock Oil Lamps to be sealed on the underside to prevent oil from seeping into the rock, and we also feature a fiberglass wick that won't burn down, never needing replacement

Funnel to aid in filling included.

To add fragrance to the lamp, simply add a couple of drops of your favorite scented oil on the glass wick holder. As the flame heats the holder, the scented oil is diffused.

Bumblebee Stone is a complex rock made of fibrous Calcite, Hematite, Orpiment, Volcanic Ash, Sulfur, and Arsenic. Bumblebee Stone is also known as "Bumblebee Jasper", but should not be mistaken for one. This Gem was mined at Mount Papandayan, West Java, Indonesia. It has not been found in any other place as of yet. The man who discovered it at the mountain was actually a traveler, he was from Oregon, United States. He brought most of it back with him to the states and sold most of it at shows and in bulk to other Gem shops. When making jewelry with this stone, one must first polish any metal used in the process, or the metal will react with the stone, and the metal and stone will deteriorate. Bumblebee Stone is a Solar Plexus Chakra Gem, it has a hardness similar to Calcite, which is about three.

Metaphysically, Bumble Bee Jasper activates the Sacral and Solar Plexus chakras, enabling you to accept change, find new opportunities, increase your self-esteem and make decisions without relying on emotions.
