Beautiful Dark Purple Grape agate

This is a beautiful dark grape agate specimen with dark purple grapes on one side and some interesting light purple grapes on the back.

The piece would be a great addition to a collection or even a great piece of home decor. It weighs just over 3/4 lb (344g). See pix for more detail!

Grape agate is a marketing name for purple quartz crystals that have a round shape, purple color and a cluster that resembles grapes. Geologically speaking, these are not really agates, but instead more likely amethyst, or even more accurate - "botryodial" (round) amethyst.
